Hi, good day and welcome back to the Rebrand Nigeria Ambassadors Series, a weekly publication dedicated to showcasing Nigerian citizens who are contributing to both national and international development in their chosen careers.
The bad image painted about us in foreign lands is not what we are. The fact remains that Nigerians are not only great people, we are also highly talented and creative.
Anyway, let’s go back to the super talented footballer, Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze, our Rebrand Nigeria Ambassador for the week.
Mr. Chukwueze is an attacking midfielder, a skillful dribbler and well loved playmaker.
He began playing football at the age of five, inspired by the legendary Nigerian playmaker, Austin Jay Jay Okocha. In 2017, he joined Villarreal CF from the famous Diamond Football Academy, Umuahia, Abia State.
He was a member of the Nigerian Golden Eaglets Team that won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
He was among the 10 nominees shortlisted for the prestigious 2019 Kopa Trophy, which is Ballon D’Or‘s Award for the Best Performing U-21 Player.
In April 2019 he won the Nigeria Football Federation’s 2018 Young Player of the Year Award and has been recognized as one of the best U-21 players in Europe.
Samuel Chukwueze is a great player and he is good at what he does… Keep the flag flying Chukwueze, Nigerians are proud of you!
Woow, a lot to talk about but for want of space, we can’t continue. Keep a date with us as we showcase another Rebrand Nigeria Ambassador, next week.
