Today, we present to you our Rebrand Nigeria Ambassador for the week, Mr. Chris Kwekowe, the Founder and CEO of Slatecube.com. The young entrepreneur and technology consultant from Umuahia, Abia State sees the average young African as a global force to be reckoned with.
In 2014, Chris founded Slatecube.com in a bid to contribute to the reduction of unemployment crisis in the country.
Through Slatecube, students and fresh graduates learn and acquire industry relevant skills. Reports available to us revealed that the platform has an 80 percent employment rate for its users and has saved employers over $100,000 in hiring skilled and ready to work employees.
The platform also offers schools and organizations features that enable them create, host, implement virtual learning and organizational programs. It currently drives an online traffic of about 3000 visitors each month.
So far, Slatecube.com has over 157 industry related topics ranging from corporate finance to anger management, and is also in partnership with 23 schools and organizations, and has provided over 1500 virtual internship programs.
