Hi people, welcome to the next edition of the Rebrand Nigeria Ambassadors Series!
This time, we present to you, SUPOL Celestina Nwankwo, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ogudu Police Station, Lagos State.
There is a popular saying in Nigeria that “the Police is your friend”. This was proved to be true by our Rebrand Nigeria Ambassadors, a Police Officer in Lagos on the 17th of September, 2019.
She is a heroine that saved the life of a young man who was shot by thieves and left to die in Ogudu area. On arrival at the crime scene, she quickly rushed the victim, one Mr. Friday to the hospital. Despite the difficulties she encountered in trying to get medical attention for him, she stood as his surety, covered all medical expenses to the tune of over four hundred thousand naira (N400,000) and offered to donate blood during the surgical procedure.
In this era where news of police brutality and oppression fills the airwaves, SUPOL Celestina Nwankwo by her magnanimity and brave actions did not only save the man’s life but has greatly lifted the image of the Nigerian Police Force.
At the Ugwumba Leadership Center, we celebrate this patriot, SUPOL Celestina Nwankwo.
She deserves some accolades from all of us! Please, say something to her using these hashtags, #RebrandNigeria #RebrandNigeriaAmbassadors, #UgwumbaLeadershipCenter
