This young and vibrant personality is changing the face of the Real Estate Industry in Nigeria. He is no other than Sijibomi Ogundele.
Siji as he is commonly called is the Founder and CEO of Real Estate and Hospitality Company called Sujimoto Construction Limited. He had lived almost 15 years overseas before moving back to Nigeria. Prior to his return, Mr Ogundele had handled many big projects ranging from management, venture capitalism and finance projects. In 2004, Mr Ogundele began his career in risk assessment where he proceeded to lending in Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Afterwards, he successfully established Moto Finance in Paris, of which he later opened branches in New York, Madrid, Dubai and Accra.
His desire to venture into Real Estate was sparked after visiting an aunt whose supposed new apartment was below standard in his opinion. His passion was ignited which proceeded with studying the industry in-depth by travelling to other countries such as China, New York, Dubai, and Johannesburg.
Today, Sijibomi expertise as a venture capitalist and investment strategist has introduced a new dimension of the Real Estate industry in Nigeria. His high-class, innovative, exclusive, unique and luxurious structures are both locally and internationally recognized. He has offices in Accra, Madrid, Dubai, Paris and Riyadh.
Siji has been described as ‘The Donald Trump of Nigeria’ because of his luxurious buildings. Channels Television, CNBC among others have recognized Sujimoto Construction Limited as one of the most dynamic luxury real estate companies in Nigeria. The firm has also been honored with the 2019 Bold Initiative in Property Development award by the Nigerian Institute of Architects and the Luxury Developer of the Year 2019 at the Nigerian Business Leadership Awards
Sijibomi has been awarded the Hospitality Honorarium Grand 2017 Award, Patron of New Oko-Oba Primary School – 2019 (after donating learning materials and promised to renovate the school).
