Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Our Rebrand Nigeria Ambassador Series still continues as you expect!
Are you excited to know who our Ambassador is for today? Well, you all will know some of his major achievements but may be not his name as we could all get consumed in the pleasure of the services his companies provide us.

So, who could this be…? His name is Simdul Shagaya. He hails from Jos, Plateau State and he is an exceptional Ambassador. So, keep reading.

He is the founder and CEO of uLesson Education; an education technology application built to enable African students learn comfortably using modern technological tools. The platform is individual-oriented where students have access to tutorial videos and interactive and practice tests to harness their learning effectively. The app is an imitation of a tutor/lesson teacher-student interaction where classroom lessons are replicated at home and parents are updated on the performance of their children. uLesson incorporates country-specific curriculums and teachers to fill the education breach in Africa. With the use of smartphones and tablets, eLearning is made fun, engaging and interactive for pupils and students. The app targets children between the ages of 10 to 16.

uLesson desires to impact up to 300 million students starting this year in African countries such as Gambia, Ghana, Sierra Leone etc. The company has its headquarters in Lagos and a production studio in Jos.

Sim’s delve into education is quite fascinating because he was formerly the founder and CEO of eCommerce company KONGA, Dealdey and advertising firm, E-motion. Prior to founding Konga and DealDey in 2012 and 2011 respectively, he served in the Nigerian Army then migrated to the US where he obtained his first degree in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University and a Masters degree in Engineering Management at the Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Sim has received numerous awards some of which include; Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013 at the CNBC/All Africa Business Leaders Award in West Africa, Leadership CEO of the Year at The Leadership Conference/Awards- 2014, 10 most powerful men in Africa in 2014 among others.
