The Peace and Conflict Resolution Resource Center (PEACrEc), an organization that promotes peaceful co-existence among the Military, Police and Paramilitary agencies across Nigeria in order to breach the gap in national security has commended the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa for launching the Rebrand Nigeria Campaign project.
The Founder of PEACrEc, Col Kingsley Archibong Umoh, who was represented by their Abuja Liaison Officer, Jennifer Albert made this commendation in a strategic partnership meeting with the Ugwumba Leadership Center, recently.
According to her, they decided to partner with the Ugwumba Leadership Center in order to contribute in changing the image and narratives of the country since the project aligns with the objects of PEACrEc.
In his response, the Executive Director of the Ugwumba Leadership Center, Mr Remy Chuwunyere appreciated PEACrEc for recognizing the brilliant endeavors of the Center and their interest to partner with the Center. He informed Ms Jennifer Albert that the Rebrand Nigeria Campaign project is the only way the Center can support the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari in changing the mindsets of Nigerians towards their country and to improve Nigeria’s image abroad.
He also used the opportunity to announce the forthcoming #RebrandNigeriaChallenge, which is an essay competition for JSS 1 -3 students in Abuja, scheduled to hold on Children’s Day, May 27, 2020. He equally informed the PEACrEc team about the #RebrandNigeriaAmbassadors Daily Series designed to showcase Nigerians that are contributing to both national and global development across the world and the newly launched #InspiringCountryActions Weekly Series, which capture government policies that are in line with the objectives of the Campaign.
To God be all the glory!
