We are celebrating a Social Entrepreneur, Educationist, Purpose Advocate and an Enthusiast. She has many years of experience in the financial industry, education sector, women and youth empowerment, all of which her expertise are globally recognized. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you Ebimoboere Alaibe-Elezieanya.
Ebi as she is fondly called is the Founder of I Teach Africa; an international non-profit organisation with a mission to empower youths for leadership in the education sector. The foundation uses technology and unconventional paths to deliver knowledge to children in the most productive way. Their aim is to bridge the gap in public and private schools through their initiative called G.E.A.R, which stands for Gather, Equip and Release. The program trains teachers using cutting edge technology on skills required to foster better transfer of knowledge and skills to students.
Some of the trained teachers are sent to teach at schools as volunteers. Other teachers who are experts in science, technology, physics, chemistry and mathematics are sent to teach in some African countries and/or Europe, America. The organisation is in partnership with 20 Universities in Canada, 10 Universities in Liberia, 10 Universities in Ghana and 10 universities in Kenya.
Ebi’s passion for education led her to establish Little Einstein Montessori Academy, Abuja in 2013 and Einstein Grade School, Abuja in 2017. Little Einstein Montessori Academy has gone on to win the International Montessori Teachers Training Education Award. She is also the author of the book “RELENTLESS” ‘a book focused on teaching the place, power and profit of purpose to young professionals and youths.’
She spent a significant number of years in the banking industry where she demonstrated high financial investment intelligence and unprecedented record of business development and management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Politics and a Masters’ Degree in International Politics from Hull University, UK. She also has a Masters’ Degree in Management from the University of Surrey, UK and a Diploma in Montessori Education from the North American Montessori Centre.
She is a world class facilitator who possesses a unique leadership style and teaches extensively on purpose.
