We are happy to begin the new week with exciting news about a young serial entrepreneur; Akomolafe Henrich Bankole. He is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Akotex Nigeria Limited; a group of companies that specializes in delivering engineering products and services such as elevators and escalators, M7R; an Information Technology company, a fitness and wellness, and BNR; a real estate and construction company.
Henrich is a graduate of Computer Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, Ukraine and also holds a masters’ degree in Information Technology Strategic Management from Barcelona School of Management, Pompeu Fabra University, Spain. Before his return to Nigeria in 2016, he interned at MP Ascensores Sevilla, a reputable company involved in elevators and escalators.
Upon his return, he ventured into the elevator industry at a time when the country’s economy was going into recession and additionally, he was made the Managing Director. However, the business has successful strived over the years, creating more employment and signing partnership deals with renowned real estate companies such as Bilaad Realty. He is particularly interested in working with young passionate graduates whom he gives room to learn through trainings from specialists.
Bankole’s exposure to the business sector began at the young age of 8 when he co-founded a company with his father where he is still serves on the board of directors. Today, he is listed among the Forbes Africa 30 under 30 – 2019, and awarded the Peace Builder Award for Excellence in Business Entrepreneurship and Leadership Skills – 2019.
