Hi, good people of Nigeria, welcome to today’s edition of the Rebrand Nigeria Ambassador Series.
We are glad to present to you, Daniel Chinedu Nwodi. He is a human capital consultant, entrepreneur and a human rights’ activist.
The Delta born Nigerian is the founder and Executive Director of ‘Students Without Borders’, this organization founded in 2006 was borne out of his desire to encourage students all over the world and Nigeria in particular to become part of the solution in their immediate communities and actualize their potentials as future leaders.
As a students’ activist in his undergraduate days in the University of Abormey, Republic of Benin, he held leadership positions which included Public Relations Officer for the Nigerian Students Association and as the President of Nigerian Youth Association in the Republic of Benin.
These leadership roles and several training programs in leadership and human rights advocacy which he attended afterwards, helped in shaping his life and ideology. Since the founding of Students Without Borders in 2006, they have carried out a number of student-friendly projects and the founder, Daniel Nwodi a well known Students’ Ambassador has attended several international conferences where he addressed students from different countries; the American Community School, Abu Dhabi,Dubai UAE at the Global Issue Conference (2012), NigerianInternational School, Cotonou, Republic of Benin (2015), Pan AfricanStudents’ Summit, Accra, Ghana (2010), University of Ibadan at thePhysiology Students Convention which (16) universities were present(2015), Global Leadership Institute (2016), Badagry Corridor GraduateYouth Capacity Building Conference (2016).
Daniel is member of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (2014).
He is an alumnus of YALI-Regional LeadershipCentre, Accra, Ghana, West Africa.
He is one of the outstanding YALI-RLC alumnus creating awareness and outreach programs in rural communities and universities.
Daniel is currently a member of United States Government Exchange Alumni Association, Lagos branch.
His efforts in promoting human development have earned him numerous awards which include: Rotary Leadership Award, MillenniumDevelopment Goals (MDGs), National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) award asrecognition of meritorious National Services in Lagos State, MostActive Corp Member in Badagry (2011), Nominated For Future Award BestUse of Advocacy (2010) by Futures Award, National Association ofNigerian Students, Lagos Axis as Africa Patriot (2007), The mostoutstanding Nigerian Youth in Republic of Benin (2010) by HoudegbeNorth American University, (MASCOT AWARD). He was one of the ten (10)outstanding LEAP Africa Alumni celebrated at their 10th Anniversary.
We are proud of this great Nigerian youth and we celebrate him as our Rebrand Nigerian Ambassador.
