Good morning beautiful Nigerians and welcome once again to our rebrand Nigeria ambassador series. On today’s episode of the series, we shall be celebrating a man who has contributed to redeeming the Nigerian image in Japan and at the global stage.
Nigerians are indeed honest people!
Every true Nigerian has been imbibed with great cultural values which define us where ever
We find ourselves and reflect on our identity as Nigerians.
On the 19th of June 2020, a Nigerian who is a PhD student in Japan demonstrated the biblical saying, “train a child in the way he should go and when he grows, he won’t depart from it”
Meet Ikenna Nweke, the man who has again proved that Nigerians are good people. On the 19th of June 2020, Mr Ikenna Nweke picked up a wallet that contained a huge sum of money. Rather than keep it to himself, Ikenna took the wallet to the authorities who offered him a ten percent of the money in the wallet which he rejected. He was again told that the money would automatically become his if the owner didn’t claim it after three months and again he rejected the offer.
When the security officers sought to know the reason for his sterling character, he explained that he was raised from a decent home in NIgeria, a country that hosts over 200 million of good people. Of course there are a minute bad elements but same can be said of every other part of the world.
What better way to be an ambassador of our great country, Nigeria.
We are proud of this great Nigerian, Ikenna Nweke and we are honoured to celebrate him as a Rebrand Nigeria ambassador.
God bless Nigeria!!
